Word Study Partner Work

It's great watching the class partner up and work as a team.  Recently they were in partners during Word Study Partner Work and it was so awesome to see them rely on each other and help each other!  This is such a great group of kids!!

MN Zoo Visit

We had a visit from a wonderful presenter from the MN Zoo.  She was able to show us a few cool animals and talk to us about their habitats, food and cool facts!!

Halloween Fun!!

I'm a little bit behind in posting these pictures!  But I couldn't resist posting about such a wonderful day!!  We had such a fun day being all dressed up!  Enjoy!!

Book Fair...

This past Friday was a super special day at Challenger!  Each classroom received a box of brand new books!!!  These books stay in each classroom and are only possible because of the support for our recent book fair!  Thanks to everyone who made this possible!  Check out our new book section in the classroom!

Dictionaries!!

Last week, all the 3rd grade students at Challenger were given a gift from the Rotary Club.  They were each given their VERY OWN dictionary!  Members of the Rotary Club visited classrooms and personally handed each student a dictionary!  It was so fun to see them page through this wonderful resource and listen to their excitement.  We'll keep the dictionaries here and they will go home with the students at the end of 3rd grade.

Homecoming Parade Fun!

Last Friday we had such a fantastic time watching the Prowler Homecoming parade!  We took the bus over and sat along the parade route.  The kids cheered with each other, watched the awesome floats and collected candy!  It was a great time!!  What a fun way to show our Prowler Pride!! Here are some pictures of our wonderful afternoon!!
