Our field trip to the Headwaters Science Center in Bemidji was wonderful! We went on the trip with Mrs. Helling's class and it was awesome. We had fantastic chaperone's and the kids had a great time!
We got to see a Raptor presentation as well. They brought out a Red Tailed Hawk, a Martin and a Great Horned Owl. They learned so much about where the raptors live, what they eat and how they came to live at the Science Center.
Next it was time for lunch...YUM!
The classes also got to explore the experiments and animals on the floor of the science center. Some of them chose to hold reptiles and they all got the chance to work with all the "cool" stuff! What a fabulous day!
